Who We Are

A publishing house built by people who love this stuff.

Three people, smiling goofily and posing at the camera.

We're not a licensing desk.

We work directly with authors and their Korean publishers, often before a title has proven itself internationally. We pay authors fairly, translate with human translators, and edit every book with US-based editors who care about how the story lands, not just what it says.

Readers who met us at LitRPG Con know what we're about: people who genuinely love these stories, finally giving them the official editions they deserve.

Our founders are authors.

So we treat writers the way we wanted to be treated.

Our Team

Our founding team includes Benjamin Kerei (Oh Great! I Was Reincarnated as a Farmer), Brian Nordon (Quest Academy), and Michael Chatfield (The Ten Realms), internationally bestselling LitRPG authors who between them have sold millions of books and audiobooks and hit #1 on Amazon in Fantasy and Science Fiction. They didn't invest in Media Goat from a distance.

They built their own audiences from scratch, and that playbook, pricing, promotion, platform strategy, reader community, is the one every Media Goat title launches with. When we tell a Korean partner we know how to sell books in the West, it's because the people who own this company have done it, at scale, with their own names on the covers.

We've done this before, in the other direction.

Through Jakgadabang, our Seoul-based publishing subsidiary, we've spent years bringing Western bestsellers to Korean readers, including Mark of the Fool, Battle Mage Farmer, Reborn as a Demonic Tree, and System Universe, and others published on Korea's major platforms with full royalty reporting to our partners.

Bringing Korean stories west isn't a pivot for us. It's the return trip.
